Obituary of Ann Jocelyn Nakagawa
NAKAGAWA, Ann Jocelyn (nee Mullon)
Passed peacefully at Garden City Manor, St. Catharines at the age of 85 to be reunited with her late husband Harry (2013). Ann will be sadly missed by her children Barb and Ross and her two grandsons Kean and Aidan. Ann is predeceased by her brother Robin and survived by her siblings Marilla and David. Ann will also be missed by nieces, nephews and extended family in British Columbia and New Zealand.
Ann came to Canada when she was 25 and met Harry, raising their family in British Columbia. Ann spent a lot of her time giving back to the community, particularly at the MSA General Hospital in Abbotsford, BC. When Ann wasn’t volunteering, she could be found quilting, gardening and painting. Ann and Harry moved to St. Catharines in 2001 to be closer to her grandchildren. She continued to be involved with the community in Niagara and her passion for the arts.
In keeping with Ann’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 905-937-4444. A memorial service with her immediate and extended families will take place at a later date. If desired, donations to the Tribal Trails would be appreciated.
