Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 29th, 2018 in his 79th year, after a long & courageous battle with Leukemia. Paul will now be at peace with his late wife Nancy (nee Ryckman). Loving father to Cassie (Ted), Penny (Joel), Karrie-Joy (Gary). Grandfather to Christine, Dustin, Charlie, Tyler, Wiley, Shelby, Kailey, Noah. Paul was one of nine children, leaving behind several siblings, nieces and nephews. Paul was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, always there for his family. Pops was always present for every sporting event that any member of the family participated in. Paul's love for his family and sports was never-ending. His three daughters will cherish the memories made while Paul coached each of them through the St. Catharines Ladies Softball Association, and any other sport they were a part of. Paul loved playing baseball all of his life, especially for the last 29 years with his family in Jordan. Paul was an electrician, retiring from General Motors in 2003. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the St. Catharines General Hospital, especially the nurses at 3b and in the Chemo Department of the Walker Family Cancer Centre for all their support and kindness to Dad and our family. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, May 2 from 6-8 p.m. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
