Your Mother was an inspiration to many: so kind, gentle and understanding. It was a real privilege to know her and be able to call her friend. Memories abound! She was remembered at the Church of the Visitation in Jerusalem at her passing. God blessed all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Martha: We just heard of the death of our mother and we understand that the memorial/funeral service is this evening. We did not know your mother but would have imagined that she was quite the fine woman as her daughter, whom we do know, is such an outstanding human being. Then I went on the funeral home website and read the obit....and, indeed, she was quite the woman combining faithfulness with great adventure in life as she cared for husband and children and then grandchildren and great grandchildren not to mention those who were helped by her work in the community. Somebody who really loved her wrote the obituary because as I read I could feel the love and appreciation of the family for the 94 years of faithful witness to the good things in life that your mother provided to you, your family and all those who knew and met her. Our deepest condolences to you, Joseph, Paul and Patrick and to Robbie. Please know that we join the many who surround you with prayers in these days. Even all the great memories and thankfulness for her many years cannot deter what must a deep sadness at her passing. Now she joins the ones who are cheering the rest of us on in life and I imagine that she will be among the best in the choir of heaven.
Grace and Peace to you all....
Dan, Kirsten and Sara

To all of the Miller's,
I was so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. A few years ago I had the privilege of driving your Mom and my Mom and a friend to the Shaw festival in Niagara on the Lake. I thought I would be the best choice for driver but they had me laughing so hard I could barely see the road! Her sense of humour was so delightful and her kindness always an inspiration.May the deep faith that she shared so lovingly be a comfort to all of you.
With deepest sympathy,
Janet Lee (nee Evans)

Dear Martha, Robbie, Joseph, Paul, Patrick - I am thinking of you and remembering Rita's bright, wide smile and lovely, low chuckle. She brought such delight into a room, and from the first time I met her, she made me feel like I was her new best friend. I saw her rarely, but will cherish her spirit and warmth, and will continue to see it in you all. With love - Ellen

Dear Millers and extended family ... Victor and I share with you your sense of loss, your lovely Mom (my Aunt Rita) was a remarkable woman, in so many more ways than merely her years. She had a love of laughter, life, and people that was infectious and, indeed, inspiring. I have often told you, she was one of my dear Mother's VERY VERY favorite people, whose mere mention would make Marguerite's face light up!
I am so grateful for Victor and I to have 'crashed' the family dinner last October, when Uncle Fred and Anne -Marie were in St. Catherines. She lived a long life, well-loved, and so much to celebrate, to be proud of and thankful for. I am so glad that she was laughing right up until the end. I like to think that she knew she would soon be with Bill. Hers and Bobe's greatest legacy is their children, and that will always endure. We are thinking of you now and will be there with you in spirit on Friday.
Love,
Claude and Victor

Matt and Greg,
I was truly sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She has been a valued friend to my own mother in these past years and I am so very thankful for that. I remember her in kindness looking out the window during the years of our childhood when we would frantically skate around the rink in your backyard on Rockcliffe. And I remember her, ever since, as someone who was always willing to offer a kind smile on the occasion of seeing her again. I am sure these days will be difficult for both of you and your families however I wish you peace in the joy that her remembrance will also bring. - Mark

To the Miller Family,
I would like to express my heartfelt thoughts. I will miss my conversations with Aunt Rita. Her laughter, her smiles, and her genuine care for me and my own Family. As my godparents, Aunt Rita & Uncle Bill were so important to me. I know they prayed for me, they set an example of Christian living. They reinforced, and strengthened my faith of God. They always gave me encouragement in my life. They both set an example of loving each other forever. I am thankful to my parents that they gave me Aunt Rita & Uncle Bill. May the comfort of God help you during this time.
God Bless, Love Frances
