Obituary of Peter Bedard

Bedard, Peter - Passed away after a hard fought battle with a recent illness at the St. Catharines General Hospital on April 19, 2018 at the age of 75 years. Predeceased by his parents Dr. John "Ted" and Rita along with his sister Suzanne and sister-in-law Elizabeth and her husband Joel Schaefer. Loving husband to Diane (nee Kisel) for almost 50 years. Beloved father to Gregory and his wife Maria. Cherished grandpa and best buddy to William. Devoted brother to Tim and his wife Judy and John and his wife Karen. Survived by his brother-in-law John and his wife Maureen. He will be fondly remembered by his loving nieces and nephews Michael, David, Jennifer, Allison, Kim, Carrie, Jana and their families and other family members.
Peter practised law at Sullivan Mahoney LLP Lawyers for 46 years and was a senior partner. He was highly respected by his clients, fellow colleagues and many friends in the Niagara region. His great generousity, humour and positive outlook will be remembered by all. Go Jays Go!

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the George Darte Funeral Home, 905-937-4444. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Kevin's Roman Catholic Church, 303 Niagara Street, Welland on Thursday April 26, 2018 at 10:30 am. Inurnment will take place immediately after mass at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Catharines General Hospital - Walker Cancer Centre.
