Obituary of Ruth Mary Tempest
TEMPEST, Ruth
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Ruth Tempest at the age of 80. Ruth leaves behind her daughters Robin Harman, Renee, Rhonda (Steve) and her late son Russell. Loving grandma to Shane Harman, Jason (Anna), Julian, Benjamin, Raven, Chantelle and the late Breanna and her great-grandchildren. Also survived by her cousin Ruth (Doug). Predeceased by her parents Sam and Doris Smithson.
Ruth leaves behind many friends and customers in both St. Catharines and Oakville where she worked as a server for many years.
Family, friends and guests are welcomed to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, April 19th, 2018 from 1:00-3:00pm with a Celebration of Life to follow in the funeral home ceremony room at 3:00pm with cremation to follow.
A special thank you to the staff at Tabor Manor for their compassionate care over the years. If desired, memorial donations in Ruth’s name may be made to the Court Animal Hospital in St. Catharines.
