Obituary of Krystyna Soja (nee Gniado)

Soja, Krystyna (nee Gniado) - Passed away peacefully with her loving son at her side on Saturday March 10, 2018 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jozef and son Andrzej. Devoted Mama to Henry (Sophie) and Irene. Cherished Babcia to Jason (Stephanie), Matthew, and Paulina. Survived by her sister-in-law Kazimiera and niece and nephews Jolanta, Kazimierz, and John (Aleksandra) Kedzierski. Will be fondly remembered by many loving members and close friends. Krystyna was a devoted parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for many years. 

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and doctors of 3A and 3B of the St. Catharines General Hospital for the care and support to our mother.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Monday between 2-4 and 6-8pm. Vigil prayers will be said in the funeral home at 3 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Tuesday at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Building Fund.
