Obituary of Zofia Sobczak

SOBCZAK, Zofia

Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Marian (1979). Loving Mama to Ela (Leszek) Labanowicz, Dorota (Mietek) Garbacz and Lucyna (Zbyszek) Bak. Adoring Babcia to Lukasz (Iwona), Magda (Tom), Martin, Monika, Ewelina, Marta, Tomek and Kasia and Pra Babcia to 6 great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her 2 sisters and many nieces, nephews and extended family members in Poland.

She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Perpetual Church along with being a part of Rosary Ladies.

The family would like to thank the staff at Garden City Manor for all their care and compassion towards Zofia. Visitation will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Rosary will take place at 3 p.m. on Wednesday. A Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate St., on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11 am. A Rite of Committal will follow Mass at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St.
