To Christine and the entire Golchuk family,
I want to express my sincere condolences to you for the loss of Bernie, who brought so much joy into the hearts of students and staff that worked with him. I last saw Bernie at the Beamsville District Secondary School 125th Anniversary Reunion in 2013. It was then that we pulled out some of the precious, comic films that we made during the 1970's under his tutelage as producer and director while he was audio-visual technician for the school. Add to this the countless school assemblies that he was involved in, making sure that everything was on time and in good working order. His studio console was always a beehive of activity, providing students with a venue to script write commercials and broadcast morning announcements. He was one cool guy, a creative genius, a lot of fun, and I'm going to miss him very much. God bless him for his presence in our lives.

My sincere condolences to all the family on the sudden passing of Bernie. He was a dedicated, gentle spirit, always willing to help, always available, always with a smile on his face. He helped many of us computer "greenhorns" understand the technology, and was always just a phone call away when we needed him.

My sincerest condolences to all of Bernie’s Family. He was a good friend and co-worker. He always helped everyone above and beyond the call of duty. He always put students first at DSBN when providing support and services to DSBN educational technologies for schools.
I will miss him.

I was listening to the Niagara Peninsula Amateur Radio Club tonight and heard of the sudden death of Bernie. I am so sorry for your loss. I first met Bernie when we were students at Lakeport High School and first worked with him when he was the AV tech at Beamsville District High School. Following that Bernie and I worked together for years at the DSBN until his retirement. He will be missed by many teachers and staffers from the DSBN. .
