Obituary of Arthur John Searle

SEARLE, Arthur John

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Barbara. Loving Dad to Linda (the late Paul) Bryce, Karen (Ron) Dale and Mike (Lori-Ann). Cherished “Paw” to Briar, Andrew, Cally, Bailey, Taylor, Randie, Brett, Tanner and 9 great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Pat Redwood, sisters in law Clara Borsella and Diane Lalonde and brothers in law Wayne Lalonde and Joe Lalonde. Memories of Arthur will be cherished by many nieces and nephews.  

The family would like to thank the staff at Macassa Lodge, Hamilton, for all their care and compassion. Visitation will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Denis Church, 230 Lake St., on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. A Rite of Committal will follow Mass at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimers Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
