He worked for many years at Port Colborne Dairy (delivering by horse and buggy until 1967) and then at Miracle Mart for 25 years until his retirement.
Alfred was predeceased by his parents Pauline (nee Lemke) and Alfred Jabs Sr. and his son Reinhard. Alfred is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elisabeth, his daughter Christine (Dave), his daughter–in-law Sylvia (Steve), his grandchildren Michelle (Andrew), Rachel (John), Timothy (Kathleen), Jennifer (Matthew) and Joshua (Heather), and 11 great grandchildren.
The family wishes to express its gratitude to all of our friends, neighbours, ministers and fellow members of the New Apostolic Church for your care, visits, and many prayers. We specially wish to thank each and every member of our Extendicare (Pelham Road) family for their outstanding care, compassionate palliative care and support in Alfred’s final year.
