Obituary of Norma D'Amico

 

D'AMICO, Norma (nee MacPherson) – Passed away  peacefully on Saturday, January 20th, 2018 at the age of 82.  Beloved wife of Michael for 59 years. Cherished mother of Michael, Joanne (Don) Ferguson, Jim and Dan (Leigh-Ann). Loving Grandmother (Ra) of Donald (Amber), Danielle (Joey), Braden and Riley. She is survived by her sister Dolly, sister in law  Rose, her brother in law Frank (Marilyn) and her sister in law Pauline (Jack). Norma is predeceased by her siblings, Shirley, Dorothy (Frank), Vonnie, Jackie and Peter. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and relatives of the MacPherson and  D'Amico families. Norma was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who celebrated life to the fullest everyday. A sincere thank you to the many caregivers at Norma's day programs, including homecare professionals, Lexi, Linda and Dion. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, January 25th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place at 3:30p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 169 St. Paul Crescent, St. Catharines on Friday, January 26th at 10a.m. Entombment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to Linhaven Adult Day Program or the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region would be appreciated by the family.
