THOMAS, Mary “Joan”

Passed peacefully in the loving arms of her family at the age of 84. Joan is predeceased by her adoring husband Peter, sister Beth and daughter-in-law Jackie. Cherished mother, Joan leaves behind Dave (Jackie), Nancy (Mel), Joanne (Paul), Frank (Frances), Norma (Russ), Jim (Kathy) and Robbin. Joan will be missed by her 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Heaven is lucky to welcome such an incredible woman known for her passion and love for cooking and baking.

Family, friends and guests are welcomed to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Monday, January 22, 2018 with public visitation being held from 10am-12pm and a Funeral Service being celebrated in the funeral home chapel at 12:00pm.

A reception will follow at the funeral home where you are encouraged to join Joan's family for fellowship, a light lunch and refreshments.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan’s memory to a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated by her family.
