Obituary of Wai Yin Seto

SZETO, Wai Yin - Passed away with his loving family by his side on Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at the Henley House at the age of 73. Loving son of his 100 year old Mother, Ho Sin Yu. He is survived by his sisters Hing Szeto of Hong Kong and So Wah Chu and his brother in law Kui Sing Chu of England.  Wai Yin is predeceased by his father Tai Seto, his brother Soo Seto and his sister in law Lai Ling Seto.  He will be sadly missed by his 7 nieces and nephews and his many cousins. Wai Yin was born in Canton, China. He immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong in 1972. He worked alongside his 2 Uncles, Danny Wong and the late Sam Seto at the Rice Bowl Restaurant in St. Catharines until 1988.The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, January 13th from 9-10a.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 10a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
