Obituary of Irene Simpson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Simpson on January 2, 2018 at the age of 86. Irene is now reunited with her husband Virgil (1987). Loving Mom to Marlene, Beverly (Rick) Mounsey, Nadine (Moe) Conn, Shelly (Charlie) Robson. Cherished Nana to Melissa, Kory, Brittany, Holly, Frankie, Amie, Derek, Craig and Jeremy. Beloved Great-Nana to Kyan, Montana, Sabrina, Taize, Danica, Alejandro, Miguel, Quinn Irene and Faith Lynn. Also survived by her siblings Ray, Marcel, Rena, Ivan, Claudette, Bob and Mike. Predeceased by her brother Fern. She will be missed by all.

Special thanks to the staff at Garden City Manor for all their care and compassion for our Mom.

In keeping with Irene’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of Irene's life has already been held.

Memorial donations made, in Irene’s name, to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
