Jonathan Wylder Robert

Jonathan Wylder Robert, precious baby boy of Crystal Barry and Matthew Robert, entered this world silently and still on Saturday December 30, 2017. 

He will be forever missed and always loved by those who were planning for and anticipating his arrival. Left to grieve are grandparents Andre and Shirley Robert, Laura Labadie, and Robert and Suzanne Barry. Predeceased by his grandma, Margaret Barry, we are certain that she is now holding Jonathan in her arms. Also feeling this great loss are Jonathan’s aunts and uncles, Annette Robert, Melanie and Trevor Bouck, and Rachel Barry. He will forever be missed by his cousins Elise and Wesley Bouck. Crystal and Matthew are ever so grateful to the many family and friends who have come to their side in recent days to offer support.

The family wishes to thank the Niagara Midwives for their care and compassion.

Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Saturday, January 6 from 12-2 p.m. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m.

THESE ARE MY FOOTPRINTS

These are my footprints, so perfect and so small.

These tiny footprints never touched the ground at all.

Not one tiny footprint, for now I have my wings.

These tiny footprints were meant for other things.

You will hear my tiny footprints, in the patter of the rain.

Gentle drops like angels' tears, of joy and not pain.

You will see my tiny footprints, in each butterfly's lazy dance.

I'll let you know when I am with you, if you give a chance.

You will see my tiny footprints, in the rustle of the leaves.

I will whisper names into the wind, and call each one that grieves.

Most of all, these tiny footprints, are found in my parents heart, because even though I am gone now, we will never truly part.
