Obituary of Robert (Bob) Casciato
CASCIATO, Robert (Bob)
Peacefully and surrounded by family, Bob left us on Christmas Day. Born in Quebec, Bob spent most of his life in St. Catharines. He practiced dentistry for over 40 years in Thorold, Stoney Creek and Cayuga, and retired in 2010.
Bob loved the good things in life - Italian food, family and friends, and enjoying a swim in the pool. He had a wonderful sense of humour that continued through his illness - you could always count on him to crack a joke. Bob was a generous spirit and would do anything to help those close to him, or even strangers on the street.
Bob is mourned by his beloved wife and best friend Judy (nee Taliano), his son John (Aimee), daughter Andrea, and grandchildren Amalia, Daniel, and Alexander. He shared a special relationship with his devoted sister Angela, and his cousins Nora and Gabriel DeLuca, and was predeceased by his father John and mother Amalia. Bob will also be remembered by his many close friends, including his nephew and doctor John Taliano.
Many thanks to the staff at Linhaven Home for the Aged for their care and compassion during Bob’s final year.
