We remember Lionel fondly. He always brought his dancing class to the First Fridays and Holiday Bash at the Castellani Art Museum, where everyone had so much fun. Special thoughts of sympathy to Joevene.

Joevene, Willie and I are saddened by your loss. Our memories of Lionel are ones of a vibrant, fun loving, and a person willing to share his talents. We have many memories, dating back to High School, roller skating in Niagara Falls N.Y. and of course his many hours at Winter Club. Sadly we never shared time as Ball Room dancers. Yes we missed something.

Joevene- So very sorry for your loss. So many of us dancers will miss him. Lionel brought such joy to the dance floor. He made each partner feel special and added such flair. He will be missed not only as a dancer but a warm and caring person. Rest in peace Lionel-

Dearest Jovene,
Bernard and are sorry for your loss. We also have been blessed to have had the opportunity to help you in any way possible during these past difficult years. Our goal as followers of Jesus... to bring Love and Cheer during our times together. Lionel enjoyed singing with Bernie at the dinner table and laughed for quite some time at Bernie's silly jokes. We felt honored to be with you, to help in any way you asked whenever needed and dinners were a weekly highlight and joy! Bernie and I would bask in the love and care you gave Lionel, for days after our visits. The love you two shared was palatable.
You were a special couple one of a kind.. you, the wind beneath his wings making Lionel a shining light of Joy and Love for Life. He WILL be missed and YOU my dear? We shall be there for...when you need us for quite times, home made dinners and lots of laughter. Oh, will you give us an extra dance step or two to practice as well?
We Love you and consider it an Honor to have been associated with you and Lionel.
Love, Prayers and Comfort to you.
