HAY, Irene (nee Kazanowsky)

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Irene on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the age of 58 surrounded by her loved ones at the Hamilton General Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her husband David. Loving mother to Paul and Steven Jeffries and stepson Joshua Read. Sister to Cathy (the late Gary) Gill, Daughter in law to Jack and Joan Hay, Sister in law to Jim (Liz), John (Pam) and Nancy (Don) Lambert. Survived by Aunts, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. She will be missed by her friends and co-workers at Tora. Predeceased by parents Oscar and Anna Kazanowsky. The family will receive guests at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 1:30-4 p.m. Words of Remembrance will be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St., on November 20, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
