Obituary of Mary Sawchuk

Sawchuk, Mary (nee Chemerika) - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mary at the age of 93 with her loving family present. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 40 years Eli and her brothers Jack, Roy and Sam. Sadly missed by her devoted daughter Sandy (Glenn) Little. Cherished grandmother to Jeff and Greg. Will be fondly remembered by her sister Rose (the late Charlie) Sandulak; brothers Willie (Josie), Walter (Lucienne) and Nestor (Betty). Special thanks to the staff at the St. Catharines Place Retirement for their care and compassion.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, on Friday between 1:30 -2:30 pm. Funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 2:30 pm with entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Catharines Special Olympics or Community Living St. Catharines.
