Obituary of Arnold Mooradian
Arnold Mooradian
Passed peacefully with his three boys at his side on November 12, 2017 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Gail (2017). Survived by his sons John, David and Michael. Grandchildren Ara, Katie, Talin, Trent, Nicklaus, Carter, Jack and Brooklyn. Predeceased by much loved sister Lucy Dardarian and brother "Mikey" Minoian. Arnie spent his life in St. Catharines and was proud to have grown up in the (still) family home on Carlton Street in "The Dogpatch", where he was surrounded by good friends and his extended family. Arnie's passions outside of family and friends, but certainly involving them, were horse racing, hockey and his eight grandchildren. Outspoken, proud, supportive. You loved Arnie or you didn't, but you always knew where he stood. He will be sadly missed and well remembered. A special thank you to the caring staff at the Henley House. Visitation will be held at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 2-4p.m. and 6-9p.m. and on November 21, 2017 from 2-4p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4p.m. in the chapel, followed by a celebration in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Jump Start or the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
