Obituary of Phyllis Macro (nee Pinder)

Macro, Phyllis (nee Pinder) - Passed away peacefully on November 1, 2017 at the age of 97 with her family present and in spirit. A life time resident of St. Catharines, Phyllis, the daughter of George and Ruby Pinder, was born in Port Dalhousie on March 22, 1920. Predeceased by her loving husband Albert (1997) of 50 years and siblings Muriel, Ben, Bob, Dorothy, George, June, Barbara, and Jack. Beloved mother of Alan (Barbara), Gary (Laura) and Janice (Bob) Choquette. Cherished Grandma of Ellen, Brian (Shannon), Andrew (Rechelle), Richard (Shana), Melissa and Meagan (Roger). Great Grandma of Lucas and Cameron. Will be fondly remembered by her sister Edna Terry and many loving family members and close friends. The family would like to express their thanks for her care and friendship at Henley House over the past 5 years. 

Visitation will take place at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Thursday November 9, 2017 between 10:30 am to 12 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home at 12 pm with a luncheon to follow.  Burial will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery following the reception.  Memorial donations to First Church of Christ, Scientist, St. Catharines or Community Care, St. Catharines would be appreciated by the family.
