Graham Douglas Drennan

March 7, 1945 - November 2, 2017

Quietly passed in the early morning of Nov. 2 at Hospice Niagara with Margaret, his wife of 46 years, at his side and the love of his family surrounding him.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and after a short stay in Sherbrooke Quebec, the family settled in Grantham (New North St. Catharines). He attended Parnall Elementary School and Grantham & Lakeport Secondary Schools. Employment followed at Hayes Dana /Dana Canada for 40 plus years. Sports were an important part of Graham’s life, creating many lifelong friendships and wonderful memories.

He is survived by his wife Margaret (nee Stockwell), sons Christopher (Candice), Mark, and Bryan (Allison), grandchildren Cooper, Logan, Evelyn and Ryder as well as his sister Donna (Ted) Cain of Edmonton, Alberta, niece Lisa Marie and great-niece Rebecca. Beloved brother-in-law of Eleanor (Terry) O’Connor, Mary (Roger) Honsberger, Alfred (Mariette) Stockwell, Laura (Paul) McQuillan, Veronica Stockwell and Andrew (Anna) Stockwell. Proud uncle of many loving nieces, nephews and the next generation too.

Predeceased by his mother Eileen, brother Garth, sister-in-law Debbie Stockwell and brother-in law Thomas Stockwell.

In keeping with Graham’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St, St. Catharines on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, Nov. 9 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Grantham Lions Hall, 732 Niagara St., St. Catharines. In lieu of flowers donations to Juvenile Diabetes, Walker Family Cancer Centre or Hospice Niagara would be appreciated.
