OSTANEK, Irene

December 27, 1935 - October 25, 2017

With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Irene at the age of 81. Beloved wife of 60 years to Walter. Much loved mother of Cheryl and Richard. Cherished sister to Helen Sellers, Margaret Child, Bessie Tomsick and John Pavelko. Irene will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents, John and Suzanna Pavelko and her sister Linda Pavelko. Special thanks to the staff at Garden City Manor for the wonderful care and respect given to Irene. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. A private Celebration of Irene's life will take place. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
