Obituary of Mary Pizale (nee Sabina)

Pizale, Mary (nee Sabina) - Passed away peacefully on October 12, 2017 at Hospice Niagara at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley (2005) of 59 years and her sister Alice who unexpectedly died a few hours before her on the same day. Also predeceased by her brothers-in-law Tony and Mike. Loving mother to Jeanne (Tom) Billman, Carol (John) Canupp all of West Palm Beach, FL and Ed (Karen) of Burlington.Cherished Grandma to Bryon, Holly (Tommy), Mike, Ellen, and Stephanie (Rob). Great Grandma Pickles and Baba to Hailey, Emily, Chelsey, Matthew, Katie, Ryan, Meredith, Julie, and James. Devoted sister to Ann and many other loving family members and friends. Mary was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church since its early days. Mary was a very dedicated and sweet lady who always took care of her family and was able to provide a loving way of life for them. She immigrated from Poland at the age of 4 to Rorketon, Manitoba before moving to Ontario where she met her husband and married in 1945. Together they raised their family in St. Catharines with the support and friendship of a close knit family. The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to family friends Sophie (Gordon) White, Karen and Blake for the wonderful support and friendship given to mom. 
Friends are invited to join the family at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Wednesday October 18, 2017 between 2-4 and & 7-9 pm. Vigil prayers will be said in the funeral home at 3pm on Wednesday. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday October 20, 2017 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate Street at 10:30 am. A private family burial will take place at a later time. Memorial donations may be in Mary's honour to Hospice Niagara and Walker Cancer Centre.
