Obituary of Wes "Wieslaw" Lech Wierzcholski

Wierzcholski, Wes "Wieslaw" - We announce with profound sadness the sudden passing of Wes at his home on October 8, 2017 at the age of 67 years. Loving husband to Mary (nee Kedzierski) of 42 years. Devoted dad to Adrienne and Greg (Sarah). Cherished Dziadzi to Gabriel, Benjamin and Naomi. Will be sadly missed by his sister Joanna of Switzerland. Beloved son-in-law to Catherine and brother-in-law to Basia. Wes will be fondly remembered by his nieces Joanne (Pablo), Kathy (Nick), Sylvia (Chris), nephew Derek (Justiss) and many loving family members and close friends. He will also be dearly missed by his dog Kuba. Predeceased by his parents Jan (Wanda), father-in-law Michal, and brother-in-law Joe. Wes was employed at General Motors for 30 years. During his retirement in 2008 from GM, Wes had more time to spend and enjoy with his family. He loved to cook in the kitchen, tend to his garden at the house and to listen and play music. He was also a parishoner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for many years.
The family invite family and friends to the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9pm. Vigil prayers will be said in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3pm. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate Street, on Thursday at 10am. Burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations in Wes' honour can be made to Pro Kids Niagara - Music Gives or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Building Fund.
