Obituary of Simon Joseph Csoli

Csoli, Simon - Passed away peacefully on Friday August 4, 2017 at The Orchards Retirement Home at the age of 89. Predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth (nee Petrik) of 26 years (1989). Beloved father of Simon (Sylvia) of San Antonio, TX, Lisa (Cesar) Mendez of Burlington and Karen (Michael Teal) of St. Catharines. Cherished Nagypapa to Darwin, Dezso, Cassidy and Mika. Will be remembered by Agnes and her family, Maryann (Albert), Eva (Stan). Fondly remembered by many devoted family members and close friends. Simon worked at Proctor and Redfern Consulting Engineers for over 30 years as a Civil Engineer; was a devout member of Our Lady of Hungary Church for 25 years; and was a proud member of the Hungarian Club in Niagara Falls.
Public gathering will be held at  George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Tuesday between 4-8 pm. Vigil prayers will said in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 am at Our Lady of Hungary Church, 337 Hellems Ave, Welland, ON., with burial to follow later in the day at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Catharines General Hospital - Walker Cancer Centre.
