Obituary of Mary Kopko

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary at the age of 97. Loving Mom of Nestor (Carol) and Olla (John) Parish. Cherished Baba of Rylan and Evan. She will be also missed by her cousin Joe Urbanski and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband William, brothers Paul, Peter, Bill and sister Annie. She was a vibrant lady who was constantly on the go, full of wit and charm and never had a bad thing to say about anybody. She loved to dance and loved her animals and her perogies and cabbage rolls will be missed by all. 

Family and friends will be welcomed at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 7-9pm. Panachyda will be recited at 7pm on Monday. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 10am at St. John’s Ukrainian Church, 91 Lakeshore Rd., St. Catharines. Rite of Committal to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery, 1280 Dundas St. West in Oakville. Memorial donations made to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
