Obituary of Amelia Beatrice Smith

SMITH, Amelia (nee Burke, Patrick) - Passed away on Friday, September 23rd, 2011 at Caressant Care Nursing home at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late John. Cherished mother of Stephen (Susan) Burke and Valerie (Oscar) Deprez. Loving grandmother of David, Aaron, Kirsten, Alicia, Melissa, Michael, Kelly and Julie. Amelia will be sadly missed by her many great grandchildren. Mrs. Smith is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 11:30a.m.- 1p.m. A Celebration of Amelia's Life will follow at 1p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
