Obituary of Rick Spence

SPENCE, Rick - Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 at his residence at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Margie. Cherished father of Paula (Billy) and Jon. Step father of Brad (Chantelle) Johnstone, Adam (Ruth) Johnstone and Ryan (Rebecca) Johnstone. Loving Grandpa of Jessica, TJ, Arianna, Sahvana, Raegan, Dakotah, Piper and Callie. Special Great Grandpa of Mia and Gavin. He will be sadly missed by his dog, Olive. Rick was a Nascar enthusiast and an avid coin collector.  He loved all of his family dearly, including his Royal Lepage family. Rick started his own company in Barrie, Northern Performance. He worked in the Automotive Industry and Canadian Stock Car Industry. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, May 27th from 1-3p.m. A Celebration of Rick's Life will follow at 3p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Humane Society or One Foundation for NHS would be appreciated by the family.
