ENGLISH, Mary (nee Henderson) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Hospice Niagara on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Melvin. Much loved mother of Wayne (Lynda), Fay (Jim) Misener, Jim (Wendy), Mervin (Kim), Gwen (Michael) Saari and Guy (Corine). Cherished grandma to Cory (Sue), Ryan, Carly (Bryan), Christina, Matthew, Darrell, Andrea, Laura and Emily. Great granny to Cole, Jack and Carter. Loving sister of the late Russell, Stanley (Norma), Edward (Marilyn), the late John, Joan (Jackie), the late Rose, Jacquelyn, Malcolm and Patricia (Joe). Mary will also be fondly missed by many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Hospice Niagara for all of their care and kindness. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Sunday, April 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Mary's life will take place on Monday, April 10 at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara.
