Obituary of Antonio Celetti

Celetti, Antonio Passed peacefully on April 5, 2017, at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 87. Loving father of Carmela (Domenico) Vertucci, Mary (Michael) Swales and Dino. Beloved grandfather of Rocco, Rosanna, Laura, Anthony and Cassandra and great-grandfather of 4 great-grandchildren. Caring brother of Josephine, Joanne and Gerarda and brother-in-law to Rosa, Elena, Emilia. He will be missed by his long-time companion Gina. Predeceased by his first wife Rosa and second wife Yvonne and siblings Nick, Angelo and Michelina. Also predeceased by his brother in law and sister in law Antonio and Bianca Miele. The family would like to acknowledge the care and compassion Antonio received from the medical staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Family and friends will be welcomed at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL,585 Carlton St., on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be recited at 3pm at the funeral home on Friday. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St., at 9:30am on Saturday, April 8, 2017. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
