Obituary of Brian Sullivan
Sullivan, Brian
Passed peacefully at Hotel Dieu Shaver on March 22, 2017 at the age of 84. Cherished husband of 58 years to Eileen. Loving father of Nancy General, Maureen (Guy) Sullivan, Teresa (Ken) Sullivan, and Timothy. Adoring Papa of Alex, Alyse, Hannah, and Sinisa. Also survived by brother-in-laws Kenneth (Dorothy) O'Brien, Tom Hamilton and sister-in-laws Anne O'Brien and Phyllis O'Brien. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings John (Marguerite) Sullivan, Patricia (Tom) Glinski, and Gretchen (Richard) Wilson and brother-in-laws Neil (Rhoda) O'Brien, Richard O'Brien and Jack O'Brien and sister-in-law Mary Hamilton.
Brian retired from Fraser Paper Mill after 42 years of service and was an active volunteer for the Niagara Soccer Association for over 20 years.
A special thank you to Sister Louise and Staff at 2 West at Hotel Dieu Shaver for their care and compassion.
Friends and family will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be held at the funeral home at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11am at St. Denis Church, 230 Lake St., St. Catharines. Memorial donations made to St. Denis Church or Hotel Dieu Shaver would be appreciated by the family.
