Obituary of Margaret May Richards

RICHARDS, Margaret May With family by her side, Margaret passed away peacefully at Henley House on Monday, March 13, 2017, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Vince (2012) of 60 years. Loving mother of Connie (Gerry) Rae and Diane (Rennie) Romanin. Proud Grams of Brandi, Ryan, Aaron and Matthew. Cherished sister of June Taylor. Margaret was a free spirit who enjoyed life to the fullest. She was the best greeter Walmart will ever have. During the summers, Margaret enjoyed spending time with her friends and family up North fishing. A special thank you to all the wonderful and caring staff at Henley House on Morningstar Mill. Words cannot express the compassion and love you showed for mother over the years. We take comfort knowing she is finally reunited with her soulmate and love of her life, Vince. Margaret's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., on Thursday, March 16 from 6-9 p.m. A celebration of Margaret's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, March 17 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sick Children's Hospital, Henley House or the Lincoln County Humane Society.
