Obituary of Edward Armand Cormier

CORMIER, Edward Armand Passed away peacefully at home in his 87th year on Thursday, March 9, 2017. Loving husband of the late Joan (2009) for 58 years. He will always be cherished by his five children Ed, Linda (Jim) Kretz, Mark (Judy), Janine (Rob) Hendriks and Lorraine (Brad) Ford. Cherished Grandpa "Bubba" to Laura, Michelle, Christina, David, Katherine, Melissa, Amanda, Zachary, Addam, Lisa, David, Michelle and several great grandchildren. Armand was dearly loved by his sister Marguerite Stack, his late brother Bill, each of their families, and his many friends - especially his Jazz buddies at Cats. Guests will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held in the visitation room at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 3 Lyman St., on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Toronto Sickkids or Branches of the Word Evangelization Ministries would be appreciated.
