Obituary of Moira Donnelly
Donnelly, Moira (Nee Kelly) -
In her 84th year, Moira Donnelly died unexpectedly surrounded by her family at the St. Catharines General Hospital on December 26, 2016. She is survived by her four children, Margaret (Denis), Eilish, Kelly and Michael; Long time friend Dr. Andrew Donnelly; Grandchildren, Eilish Thomas, Declan Howard, Tiernan Donnelly and great-grandchildren, Morgan and Ryan Thomas. Moira was born in Dublin, Ireland. She is predeceased by her parents (Patrick and Elizabeth Kelly) and sister, Doris Millar. Moira was the 2nd eldest of nine children (Margaret, Eilish, Peadar, Eileen, Rosemary, Kate and Bried). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her special dog Oonagh. Moira was well known for her kindness, generosity, sense of humour and her faith in God. She will be missed dearly. In keeping with Moira's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, December 29th from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Friday December 30th at 11 a.m. Donations may be made to Community Care St. Catharines.
