PIGGOT, NORMAN (1934-2016)
With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our Dad, on December 24th, surrounded by family. He is survived by his loving wife Hazel, of 53 years and his children Ken (Amy), Allison, Brian & Maureen, grandsons Alex, Greg & Eric. Norrie P will be sadly missed by many relatives in Scotland & Canada, Brenda (Bill), Josephine (Tom) and Gerry (Joan) and many nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his parents William & Molly, siblings William, Jack, James (Betty), Maureen (George) . After serving as an Officer in the Merchant Navy, Norm left Scotland to follow the love of his life, Hazel to Canada in 1959. He worked as a Tool & Die Maker for several years, then went on to own North End Television for 30 years. We all enjoyed many road trips to Florida (in the Station Wagon! ) Dad loved golfing, cruises with Hazel, and singing (to everyone) His beautiful voice will be missed by many. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at NHS St. Catharines, Linhaven and our special friend Kim and Dan for your support, care & compassion. In accordance with Norm's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place in the New Year. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NHS- 3rd Floor or the Humane Society in memory of Jack, who was there to meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.
