Obituary of Gerald Allen Whidden

WHIDDEN, Gerald Allen - Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 11, 2016 at the age of 54. He leaves behind his love Stephanie (Hoogasian) and two beautiful daughters Isabel and Sophia. Loving son of Teresa and the late Bill. Cherished brother of Rick, Steve, Leslie, Joanne, Nadine, Rod, Bruce, Greg, Coral and the late Howard. Jer recently retired from GM in St Catharines. He will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humor & kindness. He was a peacemaker and a courageous and loyal friend. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, December 15th from 5-9p.m. A short prayer service will take place at 8p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
