Obituary of Consiglia Farinacci

FARINACCI, Consiglia Born September 17, 1924 in Santa Croce del Sannio, Italy, mom came to Canada with her two sons to join her husband in December, 1956. She passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 with her son and daughter by her side at Millennium Trail Manor at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Giovanni "Johnny" (April, 2002). Loving mother of Sebastian "Seby" (Carol-Ann) Farinacci, the late Gino (August 2014) and Mary (Stan) McConnery. Special grandma of Kathy (Chris) Crawford, Brad Farinacci, Amber (Scott) Ellis, Taylor (Rod) Recine, Travis and Kelli McConnery. She will be missed by her great-grandchildren: Megan, Jordyn, Jacob and Blake Crawford, Payton and Chloe Ellis, Milana and Vienna Recine. Mom will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Filomena Felice and many other relatives and friends in Canada and Italy. Connie's family wishes to thank her Millennium 'family' for their love and support these past 15 months. Family and friends will be welcomed at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Sunday, December 11 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 12 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A Rite of Committal will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St. Memorial donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society Research Program would be appreciated by her family.
