Obituary of Dr. Rufino Ramos Pestano

PESTANO, Dr. Rufino Ramos - Passed away with his loving family by his side on Sunday, November 13th, 2016 at 12:10p.m. at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Evangeline for 54 years. Cherished father of Carmenette (Roland) Ponce, Edgar Alan ( Carmencita ) Pestano and Brenda (Billy) Hirschfield. Loving Lolo "De" of Christina Elizabeth Ponce, Anthony David Ponce, Alan Junior Pestano, Alicia Pestano, Favor Rufino Hirschfield, Journey Jacob Hirschfield and Heaven Evangeline Hirschfield. Dr. Rufino Pestano was a hard working and selfless dentist in The Philippines, who provided an excellent healthcare service. He dedicated his time and services to help his community during his younger days. He was a very spiritual man who had a very strong faith in God, even up to his very last breath. He will always be remembered as a very loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. The family will recieve visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, November 18th from 2-4p.m. & 6-9p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, November 19th at 12p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
