Obituary of Benjamin Caleb Jeffries
JEFFRIES, Benjamin Caleb - Also known to his friends and family as Ben, Bennett and Benny J......was born in St. Catharines on May 4th, 1997 and left us far too soon on October 16th , 2016 at the age of 19 and a half. He graduated from Governor Simcoe Secondary School and pursued further education to follow his passion for flight at the St. Catharines Flying Club, while working at Syndicate Restaurant & Brewery. He was a witty guy with a great sense of humour. His curious nature took him down many adventurous paths which many of his friends can attest to. He had an incredible circle of friends, all of whom he loved immensely. Being a big brother meant the world to Ben and he loved his siblings with all of his heart. He was adored more than anything by Sarah, Liam, Charlie and younger cousin Gavin.
In Ben's words he was "Flying, Singing and Living Life". His passion for life was inspiring to us all. With broken hearts we weep the loss of this incredible young man with a heart so large that he could love us all so deeply. Loving son of Chris (Christina) Jeffries and Samantha (Ryan) Berry.
Cherished grandson of Greg and Sandy Jeffries, LuAnn Leonard and Tim Gould, Ruth and Bob Wallace and Gayle Berry. Great grandson of Roger Jeffries, Barbara Leonard and Doug Barlow.Special nephew of Carrie Jeffries and Jason Bertrim, Erik and Ashley Falk, Allan and Michelle Wallace ( Bronte and Sasha ), Louise Wallace, Kristen and Jay Hunter. Godson of Shannon and Gary Thomson. Predeceased by his Grandfather Randal Paul Gary, Grandfather Doug Berry, Great Grandma Rita Haycox and Great Grandma Margaret Pankratz. He will be sadly missed by his special aunt Emilie Claire Barlow.
"Ben you will forever be in our hearts. We love you all the way to the moon and back."
The family welcomes friends and family to join them at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, October 26th from 2-4p.m. A Celebration of Ben's Life will follow at 4p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
