Obituary
Obituary of Kathy Robinson
Kathleen Robinson (nee Walker)
Kathy departed this life on Thanksgiving Day, Sunday October 9th, peacefully and with all of the dignity with which she conducted her life. She is survived by her three children, Tony and his wife Valerie, Colin and his wife Pat, Linda and her husband Jeff. Her grandchildren, Jason and his wife Kimberly, Steven and his fiancé Sarah, Michael, Benjamin, Megan, and Jenna, were a constant source of happiness, pride and joy. Her great grandchildren, David and Ava provided another opportunity to experience the energy and wonder of the next generation. Her sister Marion Beer of Falmouth, England with whom she was able to celebrate her 85th birthday this past summer, will undoubtedly miss their long distance conversations. Kathy was predeceased by her loving husband Leonard after 45 years of marriage.
Len and Kathy emigrated to Canada from England in 1957 settling immediately in the St. Catharines area, where they were actively involved in the community. Kathy was a dedicated parishioner and volunteer with St. Columba Anglican Church and she leaves behind many dear friends within the ACW and congregation. We would like to remember all of the card players, puzzle makers, TOPS members, scrabble partners, and bleacher warmers who shared in so much of Kathy’s life.
Many thanks to the staff of the St. Catharines General Hospital and Royal Henley Retirement Residence for their care and support.
Visitation is to take place at 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 15, 2016 at St. Columba Church, 7 St. Columba Dr. St. Catharines, followed by a memorial service at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Columba Church.
