Obituary of Rosanna Wallington
WALLINGTON, Rosanna (Rose)
With loving friends and family by her side, Rose passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the age of 66. Loving mother of Rachel Burgess, cherished grandmother of Xavier, beloved daughter of Shirley Grace, and dear friend to many. Rose is now at peace with her late husband Gary Quirk and her sister Sharon Pruesse. Rose worked for 21 years for Royal LePage Niagara Real Estate Center as a sales representative and trainer. She was an avid gardener, golfer and loved her dogs, Madison and Max. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at the Walker Family Cancer Centre for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Tuesday, October 11 from 10-11:30 a.m. A Celebration of Rose's life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Following the ceremony, a reception will be held at Royal LePage, 33 Maywood Avenue, St. Catharines. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society or the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
