Obituary of Lucy Louisa Baker

BAKER, Lucy Louisa On Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in her 86th year. Cherished Wife of the late Bruce (2011) for more than 66 years. Lucy is survived by her beloved niece Donna, great nephew Quinton Lay of Louisville Kentucky. Relatives Shirley (Bill) Rodgers, Carole Ann, Doug and Barb La Croix and other family members survive Lucy. She will be greatly missed by her dearest friend Roxanne Reles who was always by her side. In addition she will be missed by her longtime friends and neighbors. Lucy worked as a Bus Driver Supervisor at the Lincoln County School Board and retired to be with her husband Bruce Baker who had retired from General Motors. GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., have been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Baker. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation on Wed. Oct. 5, 2016 from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Lucy's life will be held on Wed., Oct. 5, 2016 at 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Humane Society would be appreciated.
