Obituary of Robert Douglas

DOUGLAS, Robert Passed peacefully with his wife by his side on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the age of 70. Beloved husband and best friend of Debbie for 42 years. Much loved dad of Robin (Jason) Bates, Jason (Raeann), Sheila, and Barb. Proud papa to Delaney, Wilder, Paisley, Abigail, Sawyer, Gage, Charlotte and cherished grandpa to Andrew, Jessica, Jordan and Chrissy. Great-papa of Kinsley. Dear brother of Margaret (Gary) Cooke and the late Harry (Mildred). Robert will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother Helen. In keeping with Robert's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Saturday, October 8 from 10-12 p.m. A Memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre or Rankin Cancer Run.
