Obituary of Eric Glen Herbst

HERBST, Eric - Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 28th, 2016 at the age of 48. Beloved husband of Nettie for 13 years. Cherished father of Emma and Megan. Loving son of Rudy and Gerda Herbst. Much loved brother of Heidi (Graham) Booth and Kristine (Steven) Scott. Eric was a dedicated employee of General Motors for 27 years. He loved traveling and spending time with his family. Eric shared his love of soccer, music and sense of humor with his daughters. He lived for his family. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and son. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, October 3rd from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at Christ Lutheran Church,140 Russell Avenue, St. Catharines on Tuesday, October 4th at 1p.m. Burial at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Toronto Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
