Obituary of Barbara Joan Neale (nee Muller)

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 8, 2016 at the age of 69 years after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Michael of 50 years, her daughters Samantha Kilpatrick and Anna (Arnie) Magnotta. She also leaves behind her five beloved grandchildren: Garren and Siobhan Kilpatrick and Luke, Alice and Madeline Magnotta. Barb grew up in Plymouth, Devon, in the southwest part of England. It was here that she met Michael, and where they married on October 1st, 1966. Barb and Mike emigrated to Canada with their two daughters in 1982 and made their new home in Mississauga, Ontario. Barb always put family first, building a warm and loving home for her loved ones and friends. She loved to spend time in her garden, planting flowers, entertaining, and frequently enjoying a good book & cup of coffee with Mike. Barb believed in creating new traditions and upholding them for others to enjoy for many years. She also loved being a grandmother who created wonderful memories and experiences for her grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. Immediately following the service, everyone is welcome to the Kristen French Fellowship Hall, in the funeral home, for some light refreshments and a time of fellowship. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre via OneFoundation for Niagara Health System would be appreciated by the family.
