I was so sorry to hear about Rob's struggle this past year and then his passing. I worked with Rob many years ago at Kelsey's & Rumours. He was a kind and gentle man who always had a smile on his face. His laugh is still ringing in my ears! The world is a bit darker with him not in it anymore. But I'm glad that he is finally at peace and not in any pain. I can see him walking on the beach of heaven!

My deepest condonences to both family and friends of Rob Frye, we are all shocked and saddened by his passing.
Although it has been many years since I have seen Rob, as I think of all the memories, it seems like only yesterday we got to enjoy his laugh, smile and friendship. I cannot imagine having grown up through high school/college without having Rob as my friend.
With a smile, I will always remember you and the fun times we had (remember Owl's Heads ski trip (with Bird, Snow Cat, Bund), and you did not even ski)
May you be at rest now, and know that you will be greatly missed.

Dear Family and Friends of Robert Frye,
Our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
Words cannot begin to describe the feelings that we have felt since we heard the news of Rob’s condition last summer. Disbelief. Anger. Frustration…. and Sorrow might be a start. There were even glimpses of Hope along the way. But they all came crashing down two weeks ago alongside the diagnosis for Rob having only a few days to live. Grief. Heartbreak. Finality…. and Hurt.
The reality is the only reason it hurts so much is because of how much he meant to all of us. Luckily words can begin to clearly describe who Rob was and the influence he has had on us: Happiness. Selflessness. Consideration. Caring. Love.
I personally have been absolutely blessed to have been able to call Rob a friend, and only have fond memories of sharing times together. Whether these memories be enjoying lunch and ‘conversation’ in the high school cafeteria, hitting Retro Night at Whiskey Saigon, or playing Sunday afternoon football with the likes of ‘Swivel-Hips’ and ‘O’, they undoubtedly involved much banter and laughter amidst mutual respect and brotherly love.
Rob’s spirit will be missed, but will not be lost.
Sincerely,
Bernd Naumann and Family
PS Dear Rob, I’m sorry you had to go through this past year, but I’m really glad it’s over now. Looking forward to seeing you and your smile soon.

It is with great sadness that I heard the news of Robert's passing. My deepest sympathies and condolences to all of the family. Robert, when I think of you a smile comes to my face recalling memories of Grantham High School including playing football together, and the Thanksgiving Turkey (Football) Bowls, Rumours Nightclub, and getting to see you at my wedding. Gonna miss you "guy". With a heavy heart, Bernard

I am so sorry for your loss and to hear that Rob has passed. I was lucky enough to be introduced to Rob when I was 17 and was even luckier to have called him my friend after that. I constantly think back to the years I spent alot of time with Rob. I remember them fondly as some of the best times of my life. I will never forget what he did for me or the times that we all shared. I tell stories of our times together more times than I can count and will continue to do so for the rest of my life because he was truly one of a kind. He was loyal, funny, caring and personal one of the best people I have every had the honor of calling my friend. He will be missed and remembered forever by those that were lucky enough to be in his presence. I will miss him dearly.

I want to offer my sincere condolence for your loss. I knew Rob when we worked at Rumours & Kelsey's. He was always so genuinely kind and thoughtful in an environment that could easily overwhelm and frazzle even the most seasoned serving & kitchen staff. His smile and attention to people's needs, both staff and guest, made him a friendly reprieve from the craziness of whatever was going on around us. I know I am richer for having known him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sincerely,
Erin Thomson (Wood)
