My sincerest condolences to the entire family. It is beyond my comprehension, the grief that you must feel, when you lose a son, a husband (and father), or a brother.
My prayers are with you, and I hope you find peace in knowing he is not suffering.

I worked with Clay over a number of summers at the CNE, particularly when I was in charge of the daily Mardi Gras parade. Clay drove one of the floats for that parade and he always seemed to genuinely enjoy what he was doing. He always took the time to ensure his tractor was clean as a whistle before the parade set off, and he had a huge grin on his face as the parade passed by.
Clay would always stop his fork when you would see him going back and forth across the grounds, and he always took time for a quick chat, a handshake, and if we was busy, it was just a wave.
I miss him this year, and the CNE, indeed Ex Place will not be the same.
Rest in peace my friend, and condolences to all of your family.
