Obituary of Michael Busko

BUSKO, Michael "Mike" Passed away peacefully after a short struggle at Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday, July 7th in his 90th year. Predeceased by his cherished wife Elsie (1993) and much loved daughter Sharon McDonald (2014). He will be sadly missed by his devoted children Vera (Ken Powell) of Toronto, Judy (Chris) Price of Haliburton and William "Bill" of Niagara on the Lake, and son in law Colin McDonald of Texas. Loving "Gigi" of Trawn Price of Edmonton, and Morgan, Sydney and Rory McDonald of Texas. Michael will be forever missed by his brothers Joseph (Della) of Vancouver, and Edward (Simmone) of London, and his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Michael moved to Niagara in the early 1930's from Toronto to the family farm in Niagara on the Lake, where he resided for over 80 years. Michael's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, on Wednesday, July 13th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, July 14th at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 73 Picton Street, Niagara on the Lake at 11am. Rite of Committal following in St. Vincent de Paul Church Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the St. Davids Lions Club would be appreciated by the family.
