Obituary of Betty June Berge

BERGE, Betty June It is with deep sadness the family announces the peaceful passing after a brief illness of a dear sister and aunt on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Betty was in her 90th year. Loving sister of Vi Franks, Shirley Street and Glenda and Bill Voth. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her parents Olaf and Gerda Berge, and by sisters Gerdis Barnard, Mable Dingman, Dorothy Elliott, Beverly Collins and brother Henry Berge. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nursing staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital for the special care given to Betty. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street. There will be a private family inurnment held at a later date in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Tender Wishes or the Lincoln County Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
